Workshop on Foundations of Optimization and Simulation

The Industrial Engineering group and the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) organized a workshop on “Foundations of Optimization and Simulation”. This event involved 80 participants from CRIS and 5 faculty members from IIT Delhi, along with 8 Teaching Assistants. The goal of the workshop was to educate the participants about cutting-edge techniques in optimization and simulation so as to enable them to use these tools to solve problems faced by Indian Railways.
